Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005) was a polymorphous artist: watercolorist, draftsman, painter, sculptor, photographer, engraver, theater decorator, stained glass window creator, animation filmmaker... His minimalist drawing (a few lines, a head ...defining a character) enhanced by a play of luminous colors is immediately recognizable. For those who knew old television, he will forever remain the creator of the sumptuous opening and closing credits of Antenne 2 programs. A short souvenir video below awaits you as well as a bibliography to find out more on the poetic universe of this great artist.
